Zoloft?

I've currently been on it for about 2 weeks. My doctor highly suggested it after I mentioned feeling like a failure after birth because it wasn't the birth experience I wanted. I mean I really felt horrible about myself, like my body had failed me which means I failed my daughter. I have postpartum preclampsia and it sucks. Puts a damper on the healing process and I had to stay two extra days in the hospital after birth due to my blood pressure. It's still high, they let me go home, gave me a medicine routine to take. But with the Zoloft I don't feel like a failure since leaving the hospital. They want me on it for 6 months or so and hopefully I can get off of it. But definitely talk to your doctor, it's something that shouldn't be ignored

I’ve been on it for a month or a little more. It has helped me tremendously with PPD. I very rarely feel overwhelmed or frustrated anymore. I was on 50mg but just got bumped up to 100mg as of about a week ago. At 50mg I was feeling better about 80% of the time. 
I didn’t experience many side affects besides occasional diarrhea and did have one episode where I felt really faint and weak. My doctor didn’t think much of it since it only happened once. May or may not have been related to the drug.

I was on it. It made me really sleepy and didn't seem to help me much. I was switched to something else about 6 months after trying it (we just tried messing with doses until I could really switch). I hear it works for a lot of people though. everyone is different:)
