Any other Personal Trainers/Group Instructors/Runners Pregnant?
My husband and I are pregnant with baby #3 (after ttc for a year) I'm a trainer, instructor, and long distance runner. I teach 10 pretty high cardio intense classes a week, (turbo kick, Cycle, Bodypump, Boot Camp, Abs/Core and normally run 15-20miles a week. (thus the reason I had trouble conceiving) Anyways this past month I completely cut back/modified and only ran 30 miles for the month, low and behold.... I'm pregnant. I'm currently still teaching my classes (I'm only 5 weeks)
My question is, is it okay to continue my routine? would you cut back? I have been terrified this past week, so I called in a couple times, modified all my classes, and have only been walking instead of running. Is it really safe for me to workout 3-4 hours a day pregnant?
