Long Shot Question

So I'm 4 months postpartum and something about my labor just came to me randomly tonight. Little bit of back story:

I was induced at 36+1 due to pre-E and was on pitocin for about 10 hrs before it suddenly kicked into extra high gear (magnesium had been working against it). I showed up to the hospital at 12:30pm on 10/11/17 nearly completely effaced and 2cm dilated but halted there until 10 that night. I was knocked out for the night with a stout IV of benedryl (wow that shit was something) until 10:09 when I felt this almost like an extremely hard pound sensation deep in my pelvis. Had the nurse come check me and she accidentally broke my water... THEN the contractions became almost unbearable lol.

That leads me to my question: WHAT WAS THAT FEELING I HAD??? I was so high on IV pain meds after delivery (yay stitches) that I completely forgot to ask. A doctor had said my baby was pretty much completely dropped before I was admitted, but was he wrong and my baby finally dropped right before my water broke instead? Sorry for being so long winded, I'm up for a night feed and my mind just decided to wander lol
