Parents names on the invites??

SO... my parents gave us a chunk of money before we started planning the wedding and said we could do whatever we wanted with it. His parents are giving us the same amount, but not until after the wedding. Months go by and we’re about to send out the invitations and NOW my parents have an issue with both sets of parents names on the invite since his aren’t paying for anything. I feel like this is such a minor detail and isn’t fair because it’s both of our days and both sets of parents days- one should not be excluded.

Rewind a few days from today- my dad calls me asking how many of my future in laws coworkers would be coming. It’s a decent amount, most of which I know, and since he has a small family. My parents are mad they didn’t invite any coworkers (told me they’d just invite them to the dance) and now need to have a “discussion” with me about this. I’m so pissed off- its my fcng guest list!

Anyone else running into this issue? Any advice? Seriously on the struggle bus with this!!!
