First day using a cup, and I love it!!!

Hello all you beautiful ladies! I just stopped by to track my period, since I started today, and to let you all know I made the switch to a cup!

I haven't been able to use tampons for a few years now, I have the Para Guard iud and it makes my cramps with a tampon almost unbareable. I purchased the THINKX period panties which worked, but they are expensive so I bought 2 pairs, but on a heavy day you're going thru both and you're stuck washing laundry everyday. Not feasible.

So after much research and many "What kind of cervix are you" quizes I decided on the Blossom Cup, and I must say I am one happy camper! I followed the basic C fold instructions and got it in right on the first try!

It's a pretty firm silicone, but soft and easy to manipulate for proper suction.

I can't even feel it, which is what I was worried about. It was in for over 8 hours on a heavy first day and no leaks, and wasn't even close to being full. I totally could have kept it in for the recommended 12 hours.

If you're on the fence about getting one, I'm here to tell you it's well worth the money!
