Positive HPV while trying to get pregnant

My pap results came back as positive with HPV. They have always been normal. The hubby and I have been trying for a baby for two years with no luck. We literally just started fertility treatments the week the results came back about HPV and now we have to put our baby making on hold. This is beyond frustrating, as I’m almost 34 and have yet to be able to conceive. This also has me totally freaked out. Has anyone else tested positive to HPV? What happened next? I go in for a colposcopy in March. Anybody have treatment for abnormal cells? Did any of this hinder baby making? Or did anyone end up with cancer after this? I’m just scared and distraught and looking for people with similar stories so I can know what to expect. Thanks for any help!!
