What size?

I want to get this for my daughter’s coming home outfit, but I don’t know what size to get. Do most newborns actually wear newborn size or should I get it in 3 month size?

If you want it for coming home then NB for sure so it'll be nice fitted

See I’d say newborn. 
If you want it mainly as her going home outfit then it doesn’t matter if she grows out of it quick. 
You don’t want to be upset that her outfit doesn’t fit her (too big) on the day you being her home, when you’ve had it planned for months. 
They got my Sons weight wrong and he was way out of their predictions at birth. 
Babies are a lot smaller than what we imagine they’re going to be.

Newborn for sure. Everyone told me to get bigger sizes but I had a small baby who wore newborn until he was almost 6 weeks old

People always say buy 0-3m. But my daughter was swimming in the newborn size still at a week old. She was over 6lbs. She was in newborn clothes until almost 3 months. Most babies I know have worn newborn clothes for at least a couple weeks. Unless you’re going to have a 9-10lb baby, I’d say get a newborn size for the take home outfit.

My son used newborn size for 1 month. He was 7lbs 9.3oz at birth. If you love the outfit you can get it in both newborn and 0/3 months

My baby is 6 weeks and he's still in newborn. You want it coming home from hospital so newborn would be perfect.

I’d get 3 month. If you get newborn she will grow out of it very fast 😅 I learned this the hard way lol. I bought TONS of newborn clothes and my daughter only fit in them for 3 weeks hahah
