It really doesn’t hurt. It’s just the healing process that sucks. Your tongue damn near takes up your entire mouth from the swelling. My go-to food was the microwaveable mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. I would over cook the Mac and the mix them together. Yummmm. It’s worth it. I love my tongue ring and so does my husband 😏

Piercings and tattoos typically hurt, yes. However, everyone is different and tolerates pain differently. Some piercings hurt more than others or not at all. They'll clamp it. so that takes most of the pain away. If you're gonna do it, suck it up and do it.

For me the clamp hurt the most. I closed my eyes( it was my first piercing). And then next thing you know he said to open my eyes and he was done. It was really quick. I have had mine for around 9 hours.Barely any pain or swelling and I talk fine
