What’s it like?

Can an out break just be a few small bumps in the same place every time? I get a series of small bumps on my upper left butt cheek, usually around the time I have my period. Less often, I’ll get one little blister type bump on my vag, just above the clit slightly to the left. Sometimes I get the muscle pains that I’ve read can be symptoms as well. But that’s it. I’ve never had them anywhere else and it’s ALWAYS the same spots. Sometimes they happen at the same time, sometimes not. Shaving seems to bring on the one on my vag so the first time or two I thought it was a shave bump or something. I’ve read up on herpes and so much of what I experience fits the bill. It’s been about 2 years since I first noticed this. I was in a relationship with a guy who had it, we were always very careful but you never know. And id been out of that relationship for at least 16 years before I noticed this. And I’ve had hvs1? (cold sores on the mouth) since I was a kid. Thoughts? I can’t afford a doc or I’d have done that already. Thanks all.
