crib canopy help?

How do these two pieces go together? I know I can screw the metal one into the ceiling but I’m confused on the plastic piece.

Drill a small hole in the ceiling and put the plastic piece in first, it’s for extra support, then screw in the hook.

You put in the ceiling. in the drywall so it has a better grip. i would personally buy a different kind that has bigger spiral so it really stays in the drywall. but that depends how heavy the canopy. So plastic goes in drywall.  screw goes in plastic.
