Water Broke???

Question

I’m not sure if my water broke or not, i went to the bathroom and when i wiped there was little chunky white stuff on the paper and it feels wet like im leaking just not enough to soak up my panties just yet.. my dr said that i needed to go to the hospital as soon as my water broke since i tested positive  for group b strep but im not sure if it broke or not

It sounds like it’s just part of your mucus plug.

You could be leaking without you water breaking completely. Go to L&D; to get checked to be sure. Better safe than sorry.

It could be your water leaking. My sister had her baby Christmas morning and had no idea her water was leaking. She kept thinking it was her mucus plug. I convinced her to get checked and sure enough it was her water leaking. She was even having some good contractions and didn’t know. The dr had to break the rest of her water which wasn’t much. So yes it could be your water leaking. You don’t have to have a huge gush when it breaks. I’d say get it checked especially since you tested positive.
