Blood pockets/ children age gaps

Last night I had significant bleeding and spotting through out the next day. Went to the doctor and turns out there was just a pocket of blood outside my uterus and should resolve on it’s own, I’m suppose to go back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound. Has this happened to anyone before? Also, Im so excited this is my second child but my first I had nine years ago. Do any of you ladies have large gaps between your children and how did that turn out?
