How soon can I take my newborn out for a walk?

My daughter is a week old today and I wanted to know around when would be an ok time to take her out to walk around the block in her stroller. 
I know newborns immune systems are still very weak and to avoid going parks or being around large crowds of people. With that being said, any suggestions? Is a week old still too little to be out besides doctors appointments?

My OB told me if she was drinking breast milk she would be still getting a boost from my immune system so not to worry.

I personally feel like a week is too young, if you have weather thats inconsistent she's definitely too young but if the weather is consistent and warm then I would say wait til she's at least 2 weeks old

We were out and about by day 5. A day after I got out the hospital. There’s no harm in going for a walk or to the shop etc. Fresh air is good for them as is being exposed to germs within reason

Whenever you want. We never locked ourselves away in our house. To me, that's a 1-way ticket to postpartum depression. We were talking our daughter the day we brought there home from the hospital. We met up with friends for lunch out in town before heading home. We then had family fly in when she was a week old and she went to the zoo, on a ghost walk, multiple restaurants, the beach, etc. Zero issues. It's just a whole lot of common sense. She was born in May so we made she she was shaded and had sunscreen on if we were outdoors and we made sure strangers never touched her or got to close. I also washed my hands a bit more often than I normally would just to ensure that I wasn't passing anything on to her. But it's more than okay to get out of the house.

I think a week old is fine in spring weather, you’re just talking about fresh air in your neighborhood not a crowded mall. For big crowded spaces I would wait until he has his first vaccines.

We were out and about the day I got out of the hospital. I needed to get painkillers at Walgreens. I also took him to the store. I’m a single mom so I had no one to get my food or wipes or anything.

We came home from the hospital when my son was 2 days old to a house full of ppl with germy kids. We did make it a rule that if the kids wanted to touch him they had to wash their hands and my mil had everyone do it. We personally didn’t mind if the adults did or not we didn’t mind exposing him to a few germs and getting his immunity up. We also took him out a week later and whenever we had to. He was born in October so we took him Black Friday shopping as well. It’s really whatever your comfortable with. As long as the weather is good and your baby is dressed for the weather I don’t see any harm in a walk around the block
