If it’s not broken, do I fix it??

Er

So we all know the phrase-if it isn’t broken-don’t fix it.... well I have this weird urge to “fix it”

I am a Thirsties groupie! Love them! Great company-great product-no leaks. I use the covers and I’m so happy with them. I have a great system where I add a bamboo insert for a nap and two for over night, no leaks blow outs or anything!

My issue is the flour sack towels I use. They are becoming very wrinkled and almost stiff and not soft to the touch. And while I don’t mind folding them, it is a bit of a pain.

So I’ve discover apple cheeks 2ply bamboo inserts. The shop I buy my cloth stuff from has them 2/15.50. I can buy a flour sack towel for 99 cents....

Does anyone use these as a insert in a cover system and do you think they are worth the price

Or!

Has anyone found that stripping their FST made them softer and gave them life again??

I don’t love the idea of making this move just because of the price tag alone, but a trimmer/higher quality diaper insert that would last multiple kids does seem nice. I’m looking at it as more of an investment.
