Should we try again? See below

I’m 39 hubby is 59 have had two miscarriages. One before an open myomectomy August 2016. One after on Feb 8th should we try again?

I would meet with a doctor for he both of you because y’all are both up there enough in age that if you did get pregnant, you would be high risk just because of age anyway. I don’t think it hurts anything to have a baby at that age but I do think you got to think about the chances of having problems in that area. I am not trying to sound rude at all so I’m sorry if I do, I’m just trying to help. Good luck!

Men can have babies until they’re older...Mick Jagger lol...age doesnt affect sperm so much until men get up there in years. My grandpa didn’t have his 1st until he was 40 & his 4th in his 50’s. He was worried, he always said, that he wouldn’t be around to see them graduate college, etc. So he had other concerns that way rather than the health of his sperm...the not wanting to orphan a child. But my grandma was 20 years younger than him. It’s more the egg dna fragmentation, is my understanding, when it comes to age. But 39 is NOT too old. I’m 35, my husband is 40, & our obgyn said his practice is over 70% women in their early 40’s these days. More & more women are waiting to have babies until after they have established careers. I work in an elementary school & 3 teachers in their 40’s all had healthy babies just last year & only 1 needed minor assistance. Get testing done if it eases your mind, but if your heart desires babies, go for it. Life is too short to have regrets. When you’re 49 you’ll look back at how young 39 was & maybe wish you had?
