How many minutes breastfeeding?

How old is your baby and how many minutes does he or she breastfeed? 
My 5.75 month old has started pushing me away after 6-8 minutes of nursing and since I’m exclusively breastfeeding I’m not sure if that’s enough or if I should try to get her to eat more. I used to nurse her 30-45 minutes when she was an infant so 6-8 minutes seems really short.

My little one had been eating around 6-10 minutes total for the last 2 months.   It dropped off suddenly but our pediatrician had us weigh her before and after feeding and see was getting enough.

My girl has always been a fast eater! 6-10 minutes one side unless it’s time for bed, she’ll milk the clock .

My son just turned 5 months. He eats around 10 minutes on the first side, and then 5-10 on the second.

Mine is lucky if she’s on each side for 5min. Only time it’s long now is before bed. She knows it means business 😂 that nursing session is like 45min total. Rest of the day. Nope. She’s too busy and nebby. She eats and is DONE.

Here’s the deal, they eat longer when younger because they are learning. The bigger they get they can drink more faster. 
I have 3 children now, breastfed them all. Just go with the flow, babies are amazing tiny humans! They’ll let you know when and what they want. Roll with it.

My LO has weird nursing times, anywhere from 2 minutes to 20 minutes on just one side! Patterns I've noticed is he nurses shortest during the day, but often - like every hour to two hours. When I pump, my flow is strong and fast,  and I know this is because my LO has gotten so good at transferring milk so even though he feeds for a short time I know he is getting what he needs. My flow is slowest at night because I'm not full so it takes longer. I'm not concerned, though,  he is a chunk so obviously he is getting enough. 😂

I only feed on one side each feeding and my son has been eating for like 10 months too.

my daughter is 5 months , and will nurse on each side about 8 minutes. She's become a quick eater. At night for our last feed, she will nurse a bit longer
