Diaper Allergy?

My son has been experiencing a bunch of redness around only where his diaper touches. I’ve tried several brands but this redness still seems to stay. I’m not sure if this is a diaper allergy or something else? Anyone else had this issue and if so what did you use that helped?

he needs to be completely dry before applying aquaphor or A&D; ointment then the diaper. he should also have time every day to be without a diaper.
he should have a bath daily...only water every other day no soap....and again make sure he is FULLY dry before applying the barrier ointment and then the diaper

It was happening with my son,  turns out that newborn diapers were too small,  which kept the urine directly on his skin,  which irritated him.  I changed to size 1 and it went away. A month later and 4lbs heavier and it's happening again,  I'm gonna switch again and continue to use aquaphor to help with the irritation.

Yes, it looks like diaper rash. My newborn niece had it on her bum and her mom used A&D; cream on it and it cleared up within a few days. They try not to leave her messed up pamper on for too long and she’s as good as new. Also try using sensitive wipes. Hope this helps.
