nose piercing question

soooo i’ve been planning on getting my nose pierced for years and i’m finally thinking about it doing it soon.

Ive seen many posts of people who had gotten a nose piercing and it turned into a rlly painful looking pimple/sore and i’m just wondering how i can prevent that from happening. Also, how long do i need to leave the piercing on until i can remove it and put another one?

I’m also having trouble encouraging my mom to let me do it so i want it to be extra nice so that she won’t have regrets if it comes out bad.

Any suggestions?

update: i forgot to ask if i ever plan on taking it out will the hole be noticeable?
