I love my step daughter with every fiber of my being.

But is it wrong that I really want one of my own?

I've been raising her with her dad for the past 4 years and her and her father are my everything. She is 6 and has been in my life since she was 2.

We are finally trying for an "ours" baby but at the same time I have had some bad remarks... like "You will forget about your step daughter" and "You will feel a different type of love for your own baby". My situation isn't a bad one like most step parents. We have my step daughter full time, I feel as if she is my own, and I don't feel I will feel any different after I actually do have my own. Anyone else in the same boat? or have any advice? I just feel like chatting!
