Have you started your nursery?

My MIL is freaking out because we aren’t done with the nursery yet. We’re converting our guest bedroom, and have cleaned out one of the two giant closets so far, and I started one of the three crafts I want to do. Anybody else not even close, or is my MIL rightfully concerned?

She should not be concerned, nor should she be making you feel concerned or worried about it. You’re already working at it and it will come together! You got this - on your time!! I have not started and I am not a procrastinator... it will all work out.

We are in the middle of a house remodel. So the room was all cleaned and empty and now it’s filled with all kinds of stuff. I figure the baby will be in a bassinet in our room on the beginning anyways. I’m not going to worry about it

We just finished emptying the room, which was a nightmare. Everything else will be quick and easy though.

I’m going to be 30 weeks before my partner and I even move into our house, before decorating baby’s room😂 baby should sleep in your room for first 6 months anyway so no rush!

We’re not even starting ours until after baby is born. Not finding out gender so we’ll wait to turn spare bedroom into nursery. We didn’t use our sons nursery at all until he was 3 months old so we’re not concerned. Baby will be in our room for first couple months.

We are moving within the next week or 2 out of my in-law’s house so nope, haven’t started it! We just bought a crib and dresser this weekend that will stay in the box until we get moved in.

We have started in that our house was a fixer upper and babies room still needed to be fixed lol, so we’ve finished repairing the walls, painting, replacing some of the trim, installing new hardware, and are getting new carpet this weekend.  But we haven’t started decorating or any of that and I’m not too worried about it.  We have been busting our butts in the reno, I think the best phase will be a breeze in comparison.  So excited for our house to be done!

I’m 26 w and my nursery is completely finished. I’m delivering by c section at 38 w though and we’re going overseas in a fortnight. When we get back I’ll be 30 w.. when I break it down like that it seems like no time at all!! The only thing we have left to do is install the car seat at 31w and I’m set!

We literally just got started yesterday, meaning we cleared out the room, scheduled the carpet cleaner and painter for next week, and I bought a few random items at Target. We won’t actually be putting it together for another two weeks or so.
