Ready. Set. GET MARRIED!

This is directed at the ladies who either got engage or decided they were getting married and it happened in less than a year.

Mine is because of the military! My honey and I knew we wanted to get married, we’d been together for over a year and had joked here and there “when are you gunna marry me already??” Then he went on deployment and we decided we wanted to live together. If you’re unfamiliar with the military, unless you’re high ranking, married or have an extreeeeemely special circumstance.... you can’t live off base/out of the barracks.

Well. We thought we could make living off base work and we’d get married in time. Except those plans just aren’t guaranteed to pull through. So our option is to get married or live across the country for another two years. We could do that for sure, would it suck? Yes. We met long distance and have been long distance our entire relationship. We’re ready to be together under the same roof.

I’m so excited to marry him y’all. I can’t picture my life without him. I have insane pre-wedding nerves (we’re also eloping and then planning a wedding for our family to participate in). Did any of you, who had a “rushed,” wedding for whatever reason get those nerves? Don’t get me wrong, it has absolutely nothing to do with him! I’m gunna marry that boy whether it’s tomorrow or a decade away, he’s not getting rid of my ass that easy 😂 It’s just that we’ve started making these decisions and having this conversations within the last four-five months... and if we officially decide together that eloping is right for us and that’s what God makes happen then
