Lifting while pregnant

At work I regularly lift 25-50lbs worth of stuff that is awkward to carry throughout the day. I just found out I’m pregnant with my rainbow baby after miscarrying in December.

After miscarrying my first pregnancy I am paranoid with this one.

The only way I will get out of lifting this stuff is if I tell everyone at work I am pregnant. But my parents work with me and I do not want to tell them this early on for a lot of reasons. My mom was extremely negative to me when I announced last time and even went so far as to list all the reasons why my miscarriage was a good thing and I wasn’t going to be a good mom. I just don’t want to deal with that until I have to.

I could tell a select few people and hope they keep my secret until I announce in april. But if it’s safe for me to lift then I guess I don’t have to worry.

This stuff isn’t in boxes. It involves me having to bearhug things and lean backwards to lug them around or in carry awkwardly shaped things with my back bent almost double to give context. This stuff weighs anywhere from 25-50lbs a load and makes my stomach feel sore and stretched, but I may just be paying too much attention to it because I’m paranoid...

Any advice? I don’t see my doctor until march 22nd and so far his office hasn’t returned my call on the question of what is safe to lift.
