Who chooses the induction date?

Do I choose it or do my doctors choose it?

I chose the day, my Dr checked his schedule and it worked for him.

My doctor picked mine for my first. It was the day after my due date

You don’t get to pick when you have your baby... there’s no reason to be induced unless it’s medically necessary.

It all depends on circumstances, hospitals, staff, etc. some will tell you exactly what day, some will work with you on picking a good day that works for everyone, some will push it back if there are no beds available. My sisters last pregnancy she had to be induced, the doctor was adamant about getting induced on the Thursday before our other sisters wedding. My sister convinced the doctor to do it Tuesday, which was the earliest they were allowed to do with out a court order, to prevent about 50+ very loud people in the L&D; area. 😂😂 just gotta figure out what works best.

Neither. The doc off mice calls labor and delivery and normally the charge nurse does the scheduling. There can only be a certain amount in inductions/c sections in a day so it just depends on if there are any open spaces or not.
