I think you’ll find most women can feel both ways. I personally love it but it’s also tiring. He wants the boob for comfort more than milk these days and will wake up during the night still when he’s teething or sick for boob and nothing else will work. I’d love it if my husband could settle him but at the same time it’s so special being able to comfort him so easily. Also saves having to bring bottles out with me!

Loved it.  I made it to 20 months with my daughter before my milk dried up (just last week) due to this pregnancy.  Early on it was harder, but I cherished it so much.

I had baby #1 in July 2015 & I breastfed for 3 months, in these three months we had continuous thrush - me in my nipples & my son in his mouth & I ended up getting mastitis. The thrush was horrible for my son and he was in pain and for me I felt like he was sucking glass from my nipples! I really really really wanted to breastfeed and enjoy it so badly but I just really didn't. It was painful & traumatic for me. Now I'm pregnant with babies #2&3! And I won't be breastfeeding this time around. I just really don't want the same hassle and pain again, I know that sounds selfish but I think after making a perfect home for 9 months & putting these babies first I'm allowed to be a lil' selfish, right? I'm all for breastfeeding and bottle feeding, mammas need to do what best for them & baby whichever one it may be! ☺️✨

can i vote both? I breastfed for 2 years. it was great because the milk warmed itself, it was free, and I didn't have to worry about forgetting it. it sucked because even if I pumped and had my husband feed her a bottle in the middle of the night I would still have to wake up to pump to keep up supply. (plus she wouldn't take a bottle) She was always attached to my boobs and I felt like I could never get a moment to myself. I'm going to do it again but I think anyone who says it's all peaches and rainbows is blowing smoke up your bum.

I love it sometimes and I hate it sometimes. It's a wonderful bonding experiencenn but my 14 month old can't sleep without the boob and still wakes up 6 or so times just to get the boob. I wouldn't mind, but I am tired and pregnant. If I start to feel like it's more of an annoyance than a bonding experience, I'm going to night wean. So, TL;DR is I love it, but sometimes I hate it too.
