my future mil and I get along great when we are together but it has only been like a day at a time. my fiancé and I are getting married in October and we will be living in his house and my mother in law will be living with us. the reason being is she has health issues and she can't afford to live on her own. we will have plenty of space in the house because we are on one end and she is on the other. we will be sharing the living room and kitchen. also she occasionally goes and spends the night with her mother so we will have some nights when she is not there. my questions is if you get along with your mother in law and she lived/lives with you how does it work for you? do you feel like it is your home? or do you feel you have to play by her rules? any tips for living with the mother in law? she treats me like her own.
