Anyone deal with a pilonidal cyst? I originally found out I had one about nine years ago. Since then it occasionally flares up but I’ve never had to take anabiotics or have it lanced. I’m 22 weeks pregnant and for the last several weeks it has filled and drained on its own continuously. However a few days ago it started to fill and hasn’t drained. I did call the OB and they want me to come in. Has anyone had a similar experience? It seems like my case is unusual in that it takes care of itself… I am hoping they will just give me antibiotics that I can take safely while pregnant. Just looking for people with similar experiences…
