How to pick god parents?

I feel like I’m being too picky, nobody is good enough for my baby

Everyone keeps asking me who the godparents will be for my baby and honestly I mean I am choosing to not have any. I get that some do but I dont want to as too many assume this means if I die they get my baby and well.. No. she would belong to her father and if he dies also then grandparents or aunts/uncles.
