Preggo and sex

So my hubby and I had sex the other day and the next morning I had a good amount of blood show up. It did freak me out but I knew it's common. But since that happened I've been scared to have sex. Do we stop having sex ? Is it still safe? How long did you wait to have sex again after bleeding? Sorry if this seems dumb tia
