I’m pregnant with my second child and they will be 6 years apart and my mom just mentioned about a baby shower which made me think do you have one after the first kid?

I’m just curious about everyone’s input. Is it frowned upon? My daughter might enjoy one because she is excited to be a big sister and I don’t have any baby stuff anymore (I don’t expect anything though it isn’t about the stuff). But I read a lot of things about it being tacky or inconsiderate to new moms. I dunno just looking to see what others have done :)
