I was curious so I looked it up. The LH and HCG are similar in structure and ovulation tests can’t distinguish between the two. So therefore if you have enough of either in your urine you will show positive. So if you are close to missing AF it could indicate positive pregnancy vs ovulation. Unless your cycles are very wacky. I would say go find a pregnancy test and take that instead.
