Why does my breastmilk smell like onions?

Ive noticed over the past two days that my babies breath and my milk smells like onions...I haven't been eating onions or anything out of the ordinary... Any ideas?

I had the exact same thing for the first few weeks. It was disgusting, I could smell it off myself and the baby, my family could smell it too. I couldn't figure it out. Nothing I did changed it. It just went on it's own. I'm guessing it's something to do with hormones and it stops when they level out 🤷🏻‍♀️
