Im 26 weeks 1 day pregnant and have bacteria vaginosis iv been to the doctor and nothing has help can anyone give me any advice on this I so worried my baby will come early or be affected in some way I don’t know what to do I use shower gel that has no perfume in it wash my stuff in none bio thing I’m naked every chance I get so my body can Breath I don’t know what else to do

You shouldn’t be using anything but water to clean that area. It cleans itself. You don’t need soap or shower gel.

Just take your antibiotic, try yogurt and change your underwear as much as possible.  My ob eventually prescribed me antibiotic but she was never worried about me going Into preterm labor. She’s hasn’t seen anyone with bv go into preterm labor and seen moms go into full term labor and have bv. I think it’s rare and the infection had to be bad for it to happen. Just stay on top of it with your doctor and you should be fine.

try a probiotic. I actually got one that is specifically made for vaginal health and it helped a lot.
