I’ve been drinking coffee, if I switch to tea is that still safe?

Tea is normally less caffeine than coffee so don’t stress. You can just buy decaf tea if you are worried 😊 you will be fine with 1-2 cups a day as long as you have no other problems that caffeine may impact upon during your pregnancy

Yeah, I don’t leave the bag in to long and I have only one cup. I’ve been noticing my bp is risking and I want to slow down before it actually gets high. I know coffee raises it but if I do it where I have less caffeine and not let it steep that long, I’m hoping it helps.

Black tea has a lot of caffeine so I would limit it to a cup or two a day. Basically you should stay under 200mg of caffeine a day. Because tea is steeped, and the longer you let it do do the more caffeine is released, I would remove the bag/leaves after 4 minutes. If you google you can find out more specifically how much caffeine is in the tea you want to have.
