Ok so I was wondering if anyone one here has done methadone more specifically suboxone while pregnant? (Ok i don’t really want any advice on like I should not take it or I should take it. Cuz I already take it and have been for 2 years.) I currently take it and have been for awhile I see an OB ( MFS) who specializes in drug addicted pregnant women and mental health. And they prescribe it to me as needed I UA ( which is clean.) and I have not been on any H( heroin,black,smack) since June which is a few months BeforeI got pregnant so I have not had any H use during pregnancy ( which has been WAY HARDER THEN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE!! Ladies that have done it I see you as goddess really i am hoping to go my whole pregnancy without doing it!) so I guess what I am asking is if any of you have had an experience with your baby being born on it or what it was like during pregnancy on it. I am 29 weeks today so I still have a good 3 months before baby comes and my OB care team are pretty set on keeping me on my subs and increasing my dose as needed.( I get lots of you are going to have feelings about even methadone-or suboxone during pregnancy and stuff but unless you have been down that drug road try not to judge to hard. ) so yea I guess I just want to know how baby will do like I know that baby will detox a bit from sub and stuff and they already told me DCFS gets notified but as long as I am taking it as the OB directed and am testing clean and doing my therapy and treatment they said it’s just stranded for DCFS to kinda see where your at with that since yes technically I am a recovering addict. But addiction and pregnancy is hard and I have a friend who couldn’t crack it she used up

Till she went into labor and I love her to death and I get it I do not everyone can do the sub or methadone treatment. But I am trying to stay clean have not used once during pregnancy and am at 29 weeks with a 3.4 pound baby boy. And I want to keep him healthy happy and safe so I am not sure if the suboxone is the best way for that but also I know if I did NOT have it I would probably be using daily. So it’s a love hate.
