Is it weird to get professional pictures taken with your SO?

My boyfriend and I are totally in love even at just six months. We want to get pictures taken together, but when I brought up the idea to my friends they laughed. We’re doing it anyway bc it’s what we want to do. But I’m just wondering what the general consensus is on the subject. Is it weird to have professional pictures taken with your SO?

I'm a professional photographer and I have photographed more couples than I can count...and that's not even including engagement, wedding or maternity photos. It's not weird...and if your friends laugh at the thought, fuck em.
