Should I move in with ny LdR?

Question

Im just looking for an outsiders opinion on the situation. My boyfriend and I are long distance (CA to NY) we were together for 8 months before he moved for a job. We have been together for about 14 months now and have been doing fairly well. We trust each other, text every day, and visit once a month. I am a teacher so my job is seasonal and i have to decide whether or not to move by the summer or we will have to wait another year. Moving across the country would be a big deal for me-away from my family, friends and the only house I’ve ever lived in. Going there, i would only know him. (He hasn’t met many people yet either; just a few work friends.) i would need to find a new job and everything. I plan on bringing this up with him as a full on conversation when I visit him in April. However; the general consensus since he left has been that I go there too at some point. I feel like I would be willing to move for him and I just want to make sure that he feels the same. 
Has anyone had a similar situation? How long before you move for an LDR? Do you have opinions on moving while dating versus being engaged first? Im not asking for judgement or rude responses; I would truly just like to hear an outside opinion because I tend to come up with many scenarios in my head lol

Well I think you two should definitely talk about it and make sure that marriage is an aspiration for you both sometime in the future otherwise you would have moved for nothing. See if you like the environment when you visit him. Talk to family and friends as well.

My boyfriend and I have been together for just over 3 years and long distance for the last 2 of them. KS-TX and we started dated at age 15 and 16, now 18 & 19. But I would move to Texas with him in a heart beat.... 14 months seems a little soon (not to move in) but to move cross country to be with someone.... then again, if you wait... it’ll end up being over 2 years and who knows if you can do long distance that long....  
I say do it. 
If worse comes to worse, you just move back to NY. Being he doesn’t know many people it seems like he could use you 😊

I’m currently in a LDR however my boyfriend is at uni and I’m looking to go to a makeup school near him! Anyway for my situation I feel like we’re too young to move in together and we both feel like we need to experience living on our own before moving in together! But we really do hope to live together eventually! 
But it really just depends on you, like how you both work together! I think if it feels right for you to move in together it’ll be good for you! However if you’re umming and arring I think it’s best to talk to him about it (like you said) and see if you should live close to each other first before making the huge jump of living together! 
Also if you’re LDR you’re used to being independent and living your life when you’re not together so it could be a sudden shock to have him there all he time! But again, it really depends what you’d like to happen and how you both feel about it together!
If you haven’t already, you could get advise of your friends and family? But always sticking to what you think FEELS right to do! If he doesn’t know many people either it’ll be nice because you can both start fresh and work together to achieve things and meet new people! X
