Where does your baby sleep

Question

My lo is one month and she sleeps in a bassinet in our guest room with me. She has her own room with a crib set up but I plan on keeping her in a bassinet as long as possible. My husband sleeps in our room Sunday-Thursday nights since he gets up for work. He also feeds her when he gets up in the am so I can sleep a little. During the weekend we either bring the bassinet into the room with both of us or we take turns sleeping in the guest room with her. I like having her in the guest room so that at least one of us is sleeping well, but I MISS being in the same bed !! 
How are you all making it work?

single mom raising a little madam. my little one sleeps in my arms or on my chest most of the time especially if I want to sleep as well otherwise soon as I put her down or move its war. I feel like such a bad mom cause everyone else seems to have mastered the cots/cribs.

Why are you and the baby sleeping in a separate room? I've never understood why parents do this haha our daughter slept in a pack n play in our bedroom for the first 6 months. We then moved her to her crib in her nursery from there.

Our 5 month old sleeps in her crib which we have in the corner of our room on my side. We plan on having her in our room for the first year then we will slowly transition her to her own room. I breastfeed and I'm lazy so I don't want her to be too far away from me 😂 my husband is a light sleeper and so am I but we both have gotten used to not sleeping well. Parents are just tired, it's a way of life 🤷

My baby sleeps in the bed with me or in her pack and play beside the bed so I still can sleep in the bed with my husband. I am a lite sleeper so I know every time she moves.

We put her in a rock and play in our room the first 3 weeks. Then we moved her into her room in her rock and play. We all slept better. She was a noisy sleeper and would wake me up, and I’d think she was awake but she wasn’t, but I’d end up waking her and then she wouldn’t go back down and then I’d cry and wake up my husband haha. So we put her in her room next door. We could hear her if she cried and I set alarms for feedings. She stayed in her rock and play for 6-8 weeks then moved to a crib

I sleep on the couch and baby sleeps in her bassinet or on my chest. My husband sleeps in our room. I find it easier to sit up to nurse while on the couch rather than in bed. When she starts to sleep through the night I’ll go back to bed with my husband, but until then, it’s me and little miss in the living room

Currently sleeping on the couch because my little one hates her bassinet and is a lot more comfortable sleeping with me and on the couch I’m not gonna roll. I miss my husband so much but he has to work and I can nap during the day. She’s ebf also so he can’t really help

Our LO was in her bassinet next to my side of the bed until she was 3 months, my hubby is also a heavy sleeper and when LO wakes up at night she doesn’t really cry just fusses until I feed her. At 3 months she was too long for her bassinet so we ended up moving her crib into our room... hubby didn’t want her in her own room quite yet and I wasn’t about to argue 🤷🏻‍♀️

My little guy sleeps in the pack and play at the foot of our bed. My husband and I sleep in our bed and we will move him to his crib in his room when he starts sleeping through the night I think.
