Scenario:

Husband, wife, and baby. Wife (SAHM) goes to see elderly mom and aunt in FL with baby for 10 days. Husband stays home to work. Wife has no social life but craves one badly. Husband decides to take two vacation days (while wife and baby are gone) and is planning to go on long weekend trip to go visit his friends and family in his hometown. His friends and cousins are all husband/wife’s age and these visits include fun times (restaurants, bars, etc). Husband says he is planning this trip for himself this weekend because he is lonely and bored being at home alone. Wife would love to go on this trip to husbands hometown with him and hang out with other people of the same age. Wife is envious of husband taking this trip without her. But wife also doesn’t want to be controlling and understands husband is lonely and bored. What is the solution?

Edit: wife has no girlfriends so planning a weekend trip with them is not an option
