Planned C Section

Due 9/9 with my second, a baby girl 💕. I had my son via vaginal delivery in Sept. 2013. Delivery was relatively smooth as was the recovery. I did tear pretty significantly though, and at 6 mo post partum, i still could barely insert a tampon let alone have sex. I was then referred to PT to desensitize my scar tissue and fix my pelvic floor issues.

Due to my tearing, my Dr has recommended a c section for this delivery. He has also recommended some type of surgery for later on down the line to fix my scar tissue and bladder/pelvic floor issues.

Any tips/words of wisdom from those who have had planned c sections??? What can i expect, etc. I’m literally clueless. Thanks!
