Do you think Jesus existed?

Question

Was Jesus real? If so, was it as a criminal guilty of being controversial and edgy by definition of the church? Was t as a professor of kindness and goodwill? Please comment and remember, it’s ok to believe in different ideas. No one is wrong here.

Yeah probably. I’m not religious so of course I don’t see Jesus as a man of god in the way the Bible portrays him, to me he was just a regular guy who also happened to be incredibly kindhearted, and spread his religion, like many do today🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m am not religious BUT I do believe that Jesus was a man that was prosecuted by the romans and killed for crimes that he didn’t do. Romans are ruthless and they hated Jews. 
Was he born from a virgin? No. The son of god? No. Ride from the grave? Jesus isn’t nor was a zombie.

He was a real person, history has confirmed that. 
I don’t think he was this all knowing being, son of god. He was just a dude that got prosecuted for what he believed in. Thats all my opinion, though.

I believe he was a real good man but not a prophet. To me it’s like trying to tell me that Martin Luther King Jr was the son of god just because he selflessly fought for others rights.

Yes I believe Jesus is real and died on the cross for our sins, he rose from the dead and will one day come to take the christians to heaven.

I must have accidentally selected ‘no’ on this. I just got a notification to check out the poll results. I would like to clearly say that Jesus 100% existed. The facts are undeniable historically. The real question is whether Jesus is who he said He is- the Son of God. 
Some argue that he was just a man who had a big crowd following.
And others, report that Jesus performed miraculous works. I don’t know about you, but, there are several accounts of Jesus raising the dead to life, healing the sick, raising himself from the dead, feeding 5k people who had no food and the list goes on. Jesus is real and defended those who were considered the scum of the earth in that day and time. He stepped in to protect a woman caught having an affair from being stoned to death, asking that the man who is perfect and has never done anything wrong in his life throw the first stone. No one could. Jesus would visit those with leprosy, those who were the greatest social outcasts. If you have questions, do your own research. A great book that answers all these questions is ‘Case for Christ’ the book was written by an atheist trying to prove that Jesus wasn’t who he said he was. In the end the author could not deny that the facts were all pointing in the direction that Jesus actually is who he said he was. Jesus is real and you will be amazed at what you can find out.

I believe so yes. 
Although I fail to understand people who believe Jesus could have been here as a morally great man/ a great teacher etc.. this guy claimed he was the Son of God. So either he was the Son of God or a complete lunatic...?

There probably was a charismatic popular religious figure preaching in that area at the time. He probably had a large following and preached things that the Romans did not agree with and because of his popularity he was executed.
That doesn’t mean his name was definitely Jesus, it doesn’t mean he definitely performed miracles, it’s no proof he was the son of god or had any divine power. 
The gospels were written decades after his death by people who were not present at the time. The stories would have been passed on by word of mouth which is the most unreliable way to relay information (a simple game of Chinese whispers with some friends will prove that). 
And it wasn’t until the Emperor Constantine made Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire 300 years later that Christianity gained in followers.

I think Jesus was a really great man in hos community. And people over the yesrs just added to his popularity and altered stories.
