Iud removed doctor said “try now!!” When does my cycle start?

Doctor said iud removal should reset my fertility. But to utilize that I need to try now. Should I treat today as the first day after my period?

Answer

I think you need to wait for another period. Taking IUD out just makes it to where you can actually try now. Reset is after a period starts.
