Secondhand cloth diapers?

Cloth is so expensive to get in to, I know it saves money in the long run but it's hard to get started when you've already got a baby. Would you buy secondhand pocket diapers or all in ones? If so, how do you sterilize them??

I buy secondhand diapers 100% of the time. A quick bleach wash will sanitize although some brands don’t recommend bleach on their diapers. I’ve never had an issue and been using cloth for over 4 years.

I have gotten a lot of my cloth used. I do a warm wash with bleach and detergent and then a hot wash with detergent. The second wash is the longest wash my machine will do. I’ve never had an issue

I have bought used diapers. Flats and fitteds. Check out Fluff Love University website for directions on how to do a sterilizing bleach soak. Just ask to see lots of pictures to make sure they aren't disgusting and ask how they've been washed.

I got more than half my stash used. I just washed them with a 1/4 cup bleach to sanitize.

I have yet to buy a secondhand diaper, but it seems the life expectancy of cloth diaper materials is worth keeping in mind.
