My grandmother turned 90 last weekend and lives several hours from us. We’ve planned on going up there this weekend for WEEKS now and had people expecting us. Last week, we went to dinner with his mom after our ultrasound and she didn’t mention a single word about the fact that they allegedly have a party planned for HIS grandmother this weekend. His mom told him yesterday, when we’re supposed to leave today. So of course, my husband isn’t going with me. It’s not the fact that he wants to go his grandmothers celebration that upsets me..,it’s the fact that his mom knew our plans, waited until the last minute to say something and now OUR plans will change because of their inconsiderateness. I’ll have to make the three hour trip up and there back alone, while nearly 17 weeks pregnant. His family is ALWAYS waiting until the last minute to tell us stuff. And they only live 45 mins-hour from us. I am sooooo pissed right now, I can’t even talk. By the way, his mom knew of our plans last week at the dinner.
