Mock Transfer Cycle IVF

Has anyone had one? What exactly does this mean? I only got 1 good blast and 1 fair blast, and we are going to do FET and transfer both. My doctor said that because I’ll only get “one shot”, she is going to do a mock transfer cycle so they can make sure they’re getting the timing and everything for my transfer exactly right, then do my FET the next cycle.

They already did a “trial transfer” for my sonohysterogram, so how is this different? I should have asked on the phone, but I was just so shocked that only 2 of our embryos made it.
