I'm in one. and it has to be a fully trustworthy loyal relationship or it'll break.. me and my fella went through so much it's mad. we've been in a long distance relationship for 2 years now. and another 1 to go due to me studying in uni in a different country.  I have broke his trust so many times over the last 2 years and tbh we've always came back to each other. I will never forgive myself for what I done to him (I never cheated) but I lied to him on certain occasions on me going out with my friends or smoking etc. it was all a build up on things that led to him not being able to trust me at all :( were still together but it takes alot of hard work
