What cold and flu 🤧 medicine do you use?

I have been battling this cold for a week now: runny nose, coughing, chest congestion. I am 13 weeks pregnant and I do not know what kind of medicine I can and cannot take. Well, I should not say that. I received a list from my doctor but i really would like to hear from some of you on what you have taken. Help, I am miserable! Haha

Almost no cold medicine is safe first trimester, use the list your Dr gave you. For me, my cold never got bad enough that I'd risk taking something not safe for baby so I used a neti pot and humidifier to help my symptoms.

I'm dealing with the same. My nose was stuffed for days it was awful. I thought it was a cold and was taking Tylenol cold and flu but it wasn't working. So I started taking Claritin everyday and I've gotten much better. I guess it was my allergies. My doctor said unfortunately it's only going to get worse because it's pollen season. So I guess Claritin is going to be my best friend. I hope you start to feel better!

Zyrtec and Benadryl. Haven’t dealt with cough yet.
