Is it safe to use the Differin gel? My OB wasn’t sure.

I don’t know if this is safe. But if your OB doesn’t know either, then personally I wouldn’t use it. I stopped using my over the counter acne meds when I was pregnant. The skin flare ups suck, but it’ll be worth t.
