HPT with blood

has anyone used blood on a cheapie test and get a vfl? I'm 14dpo with bfn and no AF. I've had a yeast infection for a couple of days now and I guess that's really common on early pregnancy because of elevated estrogen levels, estrogen usually drops off after ovulation.
