Hello! DH and I are TTC. I'm 34 with a wonderful 11 year old kiddo from my first marriage. Although DH is the world's best step-dad, he also wants a biological child. I went off birth control 2 months ago and haven't had a period. My ovulation kits keep giving me negative results. My regular obgyn said there were no issues, but referred me to a prenatal counselor due to my "advanced age." The second doc didn't even examine me or ask for tests after keeping me waiting for an hour past appointment time. At what point should I be concerned about conception? After being on the pill for a decade my body is throwing me for a loop with emotions, and I'm not sure what I should be doing right now. My ex husband told me I had a "decrepit" body and I keep hearing that ringing in my head.
