Do you think you should only have 1 baby shower?

I know someone who just had a baby .. the baby is probably 1 years old right now. and now she's having another baby supposed to be born sometime in April and she is having another baby shower.. I always told it's one baby shower.. especially since they are so close in birth . I don't feel like it's right for her to be asking people to buy her more stuff when she should have plenty of stuff still left. I don't know. what's your opinion?

okay so I honestly think you should be able to have a baby shower foe any and every child you have. it's a whole new person coming into the world and in my opinion a baby shower is celebrating that life! maybe not ask for gifts or smaller things but I still believe something should be able to be done for every child you have

I think if your having a babyshower to get helllaaa stuff from other people mm maybe not the best idea but if your having a babyshower to celebrate your new baby and spend time with family friends then i see nothing wrong if they were to bring a few gifts .

Why just celebrate your first pregnancy 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think you can have as many as you want. Personally I’m not asking for stuff anyway at my baby shower, so as for the second I also wouldn’t, I’m only doing it for the celebration side of things not for stuff. Each to their own really

One of my friends is doing a sprinkle instead of a shower. So I'm just getting her some girl stuff (she had a boy first). Not exactly sure what the difference is but it each thier own I guess?

that's tricky. my dest friends kids will be less then a year apart. because of that she needs everything again. her first is still in the crib, carseat, highchair, ext...... and it's a different gender.

you need more things when having more kids. you can't raise both kids in a one kid kit

I think people should have what they want, but I’m always baffled by how much stuff everyone needs. Especially if they had a boy and are now having a girl or vice versa. Like do you really need all new stuff just because the baby is a different sex? I wouldn’t say anything to anyone having a second baby shower. They can have at it. But I probably wouldn’t attend 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have my own child to buy stuff for.
